It's as shown in the image, but it's quite ugly on the inside, which makes it necessary to carve it well so that the hamster doesn't get hurt. To be honest, I imagined it a bit wider; it's somewhat narrow and I'm not sure it can fit comfortably.

The quality seems good, but we ended up not giving it to the hamster because it was too small. i assumed that size s is meant for the tiny siberian hamsters and l for the larger syrian kind, but l wasn't sufficient for our syrian and we didn't want to take a chance that it would get stuck.
